How To Take Care of 4C Hair

Amazing shiny tresses are every woman’s dream. With new, costly hair products being launched everyday it can be hard to sift through all of them to find the best products for 4c hair. Extreme usage of chemically made items like dyes, conditioners, and shampoos can strip the hair and make it harder for your hair to be healthy. For a luxuriant head of healthy hair whilst saving money try some of the methods below.

Hair Conditioner :

To save on money, mayo is one of the best natural hair conditioners. Massage it in fully and rinse it carefully with cool water. Avoid using warm water as it will set the mayonnaise in your hair. You’ll want to rinse your hair thoroughly to remove the smell.

Lightly warm rosemary oil also works well. Massage it onto the scalp and let it sit for 15-30 minutes before rinsing it off with hot water. If you’re scalp is itchy after the treatment, add yogurt to your scalp to help soothe it. Cover you hair with towel for 15 minutes with the yogurt on your scalp, then rinse.

For a homemade protein treatment, massage a well-beaten egg into newly washed 4c hair. Rinse it with chill water after 5 minutes. Avoid using warm water or else you will have cooked egg in your hair.

Essential oils:

Mix three parts of water to one part of vinegar; spray or soak your hair in this solution to get rid of any shampoo or product buildup. Repeatedly doing this while washing your hair can help your hair easier to style and manage in the long run (more on oils)

Important oils like ylang ylang if included to either conditioner or shampoo will encourage hair growth and act as a hair rejuvenator. Rinsing your hair with the juice of two to three lemons will bring shine back to the dull hair.

The Jojoba oil will help improve scalp and improve the bounce and shine of your hair.

Wrap a hot towel around your head for thirty minutes, as this will help the oil go through the hair shaft. Rinse with your desired shampoo. After shampooing, you can use rinse your hair with milk and then hot water to add extra shine and softness to your hair.

For oily hair, beat single egg white and just apply it to your dry hair. Leave it until it is dries and becomes hard. Wash it off with cool water and shampoo. This will help cut the oiliness in your kinky curly hair.
